The Montenotte Hotel, one of Cork's leading urban resorts, has unveiled its new Employee Facility, the culmination of an extensive **€700,000 investment** to enhance the workplace experience for its staff.

The project, aimed at ensuring the hotel's employees enjoy a work life of the highest standard, features completely renovated **changing facilities** and a dedicated new wing to house the contemporary **Employee Restaurant** and a serene **Relaxation Area**.

General Manager Frits Potgieter stated, "Our most significant capital investment has been into this Employee Facility Project, underpinning an acknowledgement that **our people are ultimately the most important driver of the guest experience** and overall business success."

The design brief was based on the philosophy that employees deserve 'back-of-house' spaces of the same calibre as those offered to hotel guests.

The new extension, featuring panoramic windows and a dedicated relaxation area named 'The Library,' aligns aesthetically with the Montenotte's design-driven ethos. The new Employee Restaurant, personally curated by proprietor Josephine Whelehan, will offer internationally inspired dishes with a focus on local, seasonal, and sustainable produce.
